Spill Response Training Course – ISO Compliance
This Spill Response Training Course is designed to assist organisations in meeting ISO compliance requirements relating to emergency spill response. The course provides both the theoretical knowledge and practical guidance required to effectively manage spill incidents in the workplace.
Participants will learn how to minimise environmental impact by understanding the fundamentals of spill control, containment, and clean-up procedures. The training focuses on practical, real-world spill response techniques that help organisations meet environmental responsibilities and regulatory expectations.
Course Objectives
The objectives of this course are to:
Provide team leaders and managers with a strong understanding of Environmental Duty of Care in relation to spill prevention and clean-up.
Educate participants on absorbent selection, including which absorbents and spill response products are appropriate for different types of spills.
Introduce and train participants in the Universal 7-Step Spill Response Guide for safe and effective spill management.
Expected Outcomes
Upon completion of the training, participants will have knowledge and understanding of:
Introduction to EPA Guidelines
Environmental Duty of Care
Identification of Contaminants and Pollutants
Absorbent Selection and appropriate spill kit use
The 7-Step Spill Response Guide
Correct Product Application during spill response
Course Duration
The course runs for approximately 2 hours, including time for questions and discussion.
Upon completion, a Certificate of Participation will be issued to the company, listing the names of all participants who attended the training.

Pricing
Training fees are charged per participant (ex GST), with a minimum session fee of $750.
Regional Travel Charges (If Required)
Additional charges may apply for Spill Response Training Courses delivered outside metropolitan areas to ensure the quality and safety of training delivery. Where regional travel is required, costs associated with trainer travel time, accommodation, and meals may be charged in addition to the standard course fee. These expenses are calculated based on the location of the training site, travel distance, and duration of the engagement.
All applicable travel-related costs will be clearly outlined and agreed upon with the client prior to course confirmation to ensure transparency and compliance with ISO training delivery standards.
