During this service we will inspect your equipment according to the national safety requirements, using the 47 point checklist, to ensure that it is in proper working order, and still operates within the AS4775-2007 minimum safety standards. It is mandated that this inspection test be conducted on all units every 12 months. It is designed that this thorough inspection will compliment your company's regular weekly/monthly self checks.
At your Emergency Shower and Eye Wash Testing Service our technician will:
- Check all components of the Shower and Eye Wash units to see that they are in good working order
- Operate the Shower and Eye Wash units to check flushing fluid operation
- Check that the dispersal pattern is to the minimum standard
- Measure the flow rate, temperature and accumulative water flow
- Conduct the 47 point compliance checklist on both shower and eye wash functions, and
- Upon completion, will tag the Shower and Eye Wash devices as either 'passed' or give recommendations to remedy units that do not pass the AS4775-2007 standard.
